WARNING - Rugby League can be addictive!

Some love it because it's so unrelentingly fast: others because of the controlled aggression. Some come along because it's in t'blood: others because they saw it on TV. All who come respect the commitment the players show when they cross the white line: and everyone rejoices at the lack of diving, whinging and gamesmanship.

Welcome to Rugby League. Want to know a little more?

If you do, we'd love to see you down at The Centurions some time soon ... in whichever capacity suits you best.

MATCH OFFICIALS!

Love 'em or loathe 'em, you can't play the game without 'em. Want to find out if you've got what it takes to be part of the most important team on the field?

The RFL organises regular courses for would-be whistle blowers and flag-wavers.

PLAYERS

We're always on the look out for more players prepared to pull on the old Centurions shirt.

We've Open Age and Junior teams, and also have youth training sessions throughout the summer, so hopefully there's something that's right for you.

Contact our Head Coach.

SPECTATORS

Anyone is welcome to come along and watch any of our games, and entry is free (and the purchase of programmes, refreshments, raffle tickets and so on is not obligatory ... apparently).

Whether you're a fourth-generation Rugby League fan or a complete novice, we'll do our best to make you feel welcome.

COACHES

Would you like to get more directly involved with the Club?

We're keen supporters of the Rugby Football League's policy of encouraging new coaches, as a way of developing the sport, especially at junior levels.

There's a fully structured pathway to help you progress as far as you want to go.

VOLUNTEERS - the unsung heroes

Is it a programme seller? Is it a bar person? Is it someone marking out the pitch before the game?

There are countless must-do jobs that are required to help support the running of an amateur community sports club like ours: and they're all rewarding in their own little way.

Can you spend some time helping us out and becoming a more integral part of the Club?

SPONSORS / ADVERTISERS

Another much appreciated way to support the Club is to become a Sponsor (of a team, a match or a player), or to advertise in the Match Day programme. All generous contributions are welcome to help make the Club as successful as possible.

If you want to join our happy band in some capacity, either pop along on match days and make yourself known, or get in touch with someone on the committee - contact details on the 'Who's Who' page.  We're a friendly bunch, so don't delay, get in touch today.
