The Committee
These are the people without whom there wouldn't be a club. They give their time and experience for only one reason, to help and benefit the club and their love of 'The Greatest Game'. Thank you to all concerned.
Tony Bottomley
CLUB PRESIDENT
Tony's connection with the game of Rugby League is so impressive I will let it speak for itself. Born into a well known rugby family, Tony has played for Halifax, Hull KR, Bramley and England U19's. When he moved 'darn sarf', Tony helped set up and run Ealing RL club. He was the chair of the London ARL for 10 years, London Junior Development Committee for 11 years, the manager of the Herts RL service area for 3 years, and is currently the manager of the South African Wild Dogs national team. In amongst all this, Tony still finds time to be our Club President and Junior Team Manager. E-Mail Tony

Brian Parker
CHAIR
& COMMERCIAL MANAGER
Every club needs a Brian, and we are keeping ours.
A lifelong Widnes fan (perhaps that explains the bitterness), Brian is the clubs new (unanimous) Chairperson for 2008. Not only is Brian now the man in charge, but he also works with Ken on fund-raising initiatives and does so much for the club that it can't all be listed in this small space. E-Mail Brian.
Nick Roberts
CLUB DIRECTOR & GENERAL HELPER OUTER
A late convert to the game of Rugby League, Nick is determined to make up for lost time. Full of ideas and energy (and more ideas), Nick is committed to seeing the Club's fortunes continue to rise, and quite happily volunteers his better half, Judith, for all sorts of things. E-Mail Nick
Judie Fountain
CLUB SECRETARY
Truly the 'fountain' of all knowledge, Judie has her finger on the pulse and can be relied upon to find the answer to virtually anything to do with the Club. Judie is the clubs conduit to all things 'admin' related and what an excellent job she is doing. E-Mail Judie
Alan Fountain
SOCIAL SECRETARY
Whether it's arranging a disco, a karaoke evening or just standing by the barbeque on match days toasting his sausage, you can always rely on Alan to get behind the club and give a 100% to whatever function he is arranging. E-Mail Alan
Judith Chapman
TREASURER
With Judith's calm presence and thoughtful style at the committee meetings, we know that our money is in good hands Always the first to volunteer for anything that will benefit the club.

Darryl Brown
WEBMASTER
Thats me folks, I run the website and take the photos ( I actually gets some of our players to look good - occasionally). A grew up as a Workington Town fan (sob), but I now enjoy my Rugby League in Hertfordshire. Now who would have thought that 20 years ago. E-Mail me.
Mike Walling
PRESS LIASON
The Centurions answer to Tom Cruise, actor and script writer Mike has been a rugby league supporter all his life and is now putting his talent to good use as our press liason officer, writing our match reports and articles about the club. E-Mail Mike
Dave Parsons
VOLUNTEERS CO-ORDINATOR
Dave is the newest member of of our group. After watching and supporting The Centurions from the side lines for the last 5 years, Dave has made the much appreciated step up to committee member. E-Mail Dave
Shane Rampling
SENIOR COACH
Coach of the Year 2007, Shane hails from Bingara in Queensland and is a keen West Tigers supporter. Having played for the Centurions in the past two seasons, Shane decided to guarantee his place in the team by becoming Player/Coach (on the assumption that he is unlikely to drop himself). He won't however simply focus on the First Team, as part of his role is to strengthen both Open Age squads and to bring on Junior Development with Rob and Judith. E-Mail Shane
Rob Collins
VICE CHAIR & JUNIOR COACH
Like most intelligent people from Huddersfield, Rob moved from his home town ages ago.
Today, he brings that intelligence, a dry Yorkshire wit, and not a little passion to his roles of Vice Chairman and Coach to the Junior Sides. E-Mail Rob
Ken Edwards
SPONSORSHIP MANAGER
There's precious little we can say about Ken in the context of a family website - so we'll make something up like "great guy, top fella and all-round good egg".
A great socialiser and networker, Centurions co-founder Ken would be delighted to hear from - and meet with - any potential sponsors. E-Mail Ken
Paul Maloney
PLAYERS REPRESENTATIVE
One of our outstanding players from last season, Paul has volunteered to be the players representative on the monthly committee meetings, so if any player wants to put a view or oppinion forward to the committee, then Pauls the man to speak to.
