Junior Round Up 15th May
Cents U13's v Medway Dragons U13's
HT - 0 -12
FT 8-20
Tries - 1 x Will Curtis + 1 x Joseph Harrison No Conversion
Cents battled hard against a BIG, well organised Medway side who boasted only one loss all season and you can see why.
But Cents ignored the form book and took the game to Medway and putting them on the back foot early on in the game.
Cents had a Devan Graham try disallowed early in the first half, then with a lot of pressure coming from the Medway side, they eventually broke the Cents line and scored in the corner.
Cents playing down the hill pressured Medway, their defence stood strong and again, against the run of play Medway broke the Cents line and scored a try, making it 0-12 at Half time.
The second half Cents had it all to do, playing up hill and 0-12. But Cents scored first Joseph Harrison scored in the corner from sustained Cents pressure.
Centurions make it 3 from 3
Eastern Rhinos 12 -V- 36 St Albans Centurions
Eastern Rhinos failed to reproduce the tight defensive play from their previous game so failed to contain a big physical St Albans side who consistently gained extra yards from their tackle sets and at times produced some slick passing and offloads. The Rhinos responded to an early spell of pressure to keep The Centurions in their own 20 metres for consecutive sets but a penalty enabled St Albans to kick for excellent field position from which a sweeping cross field move put Dan Hensby over in the corner. Needless penalties were to cost the Rhinos dearly. Andy Lake increasing the Centurions lead on 20 minutes after the Rhinos had conceded a string of penalties on their own line.

Junior Round Up 8th May
Croydon 24 v 16 Cents U13's 08/05/10.
HT - 10-10
FT - 24-16
This was a game that Cents should have won.
Croydon got of to a good start opening the scoring with try out wide and a good conversion making the score 6-0.
Croydon then scored again to make it 20 to Nil.Cents responded with with a try from Will Curtis, who out ran the Croydon team but was unsuccessful with the conversion, 10-4. Cents then brought it back to 10-10 when Will Curtis burst through the Croydon defence with a well worked try, which Will Curtis then converted. At 10-10 at Half time, cents opened the scoring in the second half with a try from Callum Porter, again converted by Will Curtis making the score 10-16. Cents defence stood up well to Croydon's constant attacks, but Croydon capitalised on errors from Cents to score 3 more tries to make the final score 24-16.
It was a very even game which Cents could have easily won, if they would have kept a cool head.
