Summer 1999, consolidate Open Age, utilising over 50 players and attracting new players all the time. 2 players selected for representative side. First product of the junior system to play Open Age for the Centurions. Fielded a 2nd team for the first time against Coventry Bears as a curtain raiser for the. 1st team match against West London Junior, youth and schools development scheme, with St Albans Schools entering the English Schools U13s competition. Continued work being carried out in local schools.
Eastern Conference

Summer 2000, moved to Eastern Conference, including local rivals Hemel Stags and finish a creditable third place. Excellent links with local Rugby Union and Luton University Rugby Legue Club developed. Ran a successful second team throughout the summer, which came third in the London League Merit table and won the London League knockout trophy. Awards for All grant of £4000 to assist in Junior and Schools Rugby League Developement utilising local students to enter schools and coach the basics of the game, all leading up to a very successful junior festival.
